Mr. Mathew Abel
Mr. Mathew Abel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in aviation, operations management, and event management to his role as Co-Founder of Royal Victorian University. With decades of experience in the aviation industry, Mr. Abel has played pivotal roles in various prestigious organizations, shaping their success through his strategic leadership.
Prior to co-founding Royal Victorian University, Mr. Abel served as the Executive Director of Arabian Airlines, a prominent charter airline based in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, he oversaw the operational aspects of passenger and cargo transportation, establishing strong liaisons with airports, securing overflying and landing permissions, and managing ground handling services. His extensive experience in operating lease and charter agreements, particularly involving Regional Jets, Turbo Props, and Freighters, has contributed significantly to the growth and success of Arabian Airlines.
Before his tenure at Arabian Airlines, Mr. Abel held several key positions in the aviation industry. As the Executive Director at Ultimate Airlines, he demonstrated his leadership skills by spearheading operations and marketing strategies. Prior to that, he served as the Operation and Marketing Manager at Oriental Airlines and held a managerial role at Al Barari Tourism and Air Transport. Notably, he also represented ZAS Airline of Egypt in India, further expanding his international expertise and network.
Beyond aviation, Mr. Abel has an exceptional track record in event management. He served as the Managing Director of Global Events, an esteemed event management company that owned and organized the Global Indian Film Awards, a prominent event during the Dubai Shopping Festival. His ability to seamlessly orchestrate large-scale events showcased his organizational acumen and attention to detail.
Mr. Abel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, he has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics, demonstrating his diverse educational background and analytical mindset.
